Background of the Study
Education in Nigeria faces several challenges, particularly in rural and underserved areas such as Sabon Birni Local Government in Sokoto State. To address these issues, public-private sector collaborations have become increasingly important. These collaborations involve partnerships between government entities and private organizations to enhance the quality, accessibility, and equity of education. In Sabon Birni, efforts have been made to engage the private sector in the provision of educational resources, infrastructure, and innovative programs. However, the impact and effectiveness of these collaborations in improving educational outcomes remain unclear. This study investigates how public-private partnerships (PPPs) have contributed to the provision of education in Sabon Birni, with a focus on their effectiveness, challenges, and sustainability.
